We took Niko up to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenfestivals.org\/content\/view\/7\/29\/\">Green Festival<\/a> in San Francisco on Saturday so he could get a start on understanding sustainable living. He wore his <a href=\"http:\/\/flickr.com\/photos\/happyinwater\/255984326\/\">100% organic baby shirt<\/a>, so he fit right in. I almost put him in his &#8220;<em>Not drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife<\/em> <em>Preserve is supporting terrorism<\/em>&#8221; shirt, which probably wouldn&#8217;t have been appropriate.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"greenfestival.png\" id=\"image51\" src=\"http:\/\/happyinwater.com\/nicholas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/11\/greenfestival.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It was a pretty cool event and I managed to leave without signing up to have solar panels installed on our roof (it was close). One of the more surprising products was an all natural Drano like substance for clearing clogged drains. Who knew?<\/p>\n<p>We walked to farmer&#8217;s market on Sunday and then spent some time back in the Open Space preserves with the dogs. Sumo&#8217;s cousin Buddha has been staying with us for the last week which got challenging when it came to available &#8220;lap space.&#8221; We also watched <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0427944\/\"><em>Thank You for Smoking<\/em><\/a>, which I highly recommend.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"tt-flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/happyinwater\/296186328\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"435\" height=\"500\" alt=\"IMG_2634\" class=\"tt-flickr\" src=\"http:\/\/static.flickr.com\/116\/296186328_a9545efdfe.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Few more photos <a href=\"http:\/\/flickr.com\/photos\/happyinwater\/sets\/72157594373093900\/\">over here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mary and Jon came up and stayed with us for the weekend.
