  2. [Dec 19th, 2005] Milk duct fluid culture – done, atypical cells seen
  3. [Jan 4th, 2006] Ultrasound, right breast – done, no mass found, fluid filled milk duct seen…again
  4. [Jan 5th] Ductogram, right breast – done, calcifications in the ductal system found
  5. [Jan 10th] Mammogram, both breasts – done, 9-10 CM area of calcifications seen in right breast, highly suspicious for malignancy, “cancer appears to be extensive”, left breast looks clear
  6. [Jan 11th] MRI, right breast – done, 6 CM area of suspicious calcifications seen, highly suspicious for malignancy
  7. [Jan 17th] Axillary lymph node fine needle aspiration – done, clear, no malignancy seen
  8. [Jan 17th] Core needle biopsy, right breast – DCIS found, no definitive signs of invasive cancer
  9. [Jan 17th] Blood work – done, clear
  10. [Jan 17th] Chest X-ray – done, clear
  11. [Jan 20th] CT Scan – done, clear
  12. [Jan 20th] MRI, left breast – two suspicious areas seen, more testing required
  13. [Jan 24th] Bone scan – done, clear
  14. [Jan 31st] MRI guided core needle biopsy, left breast – done, clear, growth is a intraductal papilloma
  15. Genetic work-up, no generic predisposition to breast cancer found (e.g. BRCA1, BRCA2)

Treatment

  2. [Feb 9th] Mastectomy pre-op, done
  3. [Feb 15th] Mastectomy, sentinel lymph node removal and biopsy, left breast wire guided biopsy – done
