The yearly Florida trip has a bit more meaning now that we live in the cold. I spent the first 24 hours just thawing. I can’t say I noticed any fallout here in FL from the economy. That being said, all I do is sit on the porch and watch the waves. So I should say, the beach in front of the house was not impacted by the economy. Cousin Andrew is getting bigger and I get this feeling that he and Niko are going to get in a lot of trouble together. This year Niko was lucky enough to have his best friend Elsie along. She brought her parents too.

How nice to see Elsie again so soon and Andrew as well. Andrew is growing fast and becoming very handsome, which is no surprise really. We are warming up here, too. It is reaching 40 degrees quite regularly these days.
