Second Stop, Shoe Tree

After leaving Tahoe, we hit US 50, which is indeed one of the loneliest roads I’ve been on. It is rare we encounter another car.

Lonely road

We came upon a shoe tree in the middle of the Nevada desert. I was hopeful that shoes in fact might grow on trees, but they were old shoes.

    Hi Guys,

Did you add any shoes to the tree! Hey Mart are we going to go cross county like this one day? In a sidecar? When I win the lottery?

Is Tahoe still on fire? I was watching it on the news last week and it looked horrible. Did you see any of the devastation?

@kim No, we didn’t see any fire damage but I’m not sure why. We drove right by it.

Just wanted to say, I love the shoe trees! I received a money tree last week on my last day of work. Think I’ll get some money from it?!!!!
Enjoying all the pictures and especially of Niko.
    Love, have fun…… Aunt Sandy
