Oh my, does that take me back! In the late 1960's my best friend and her family (husband, 2-year-old,infant, and cat) moved from Hawaii back to the Washington, DC, area. I went out to help with the plane trip home. Margie's husband was recovering from gall bladder surgery and was not allowed to lift anything heavier than a stuffed animal. We had enough baggage to support a battalion in Viet Nam for a month. It's a happy memory now, but then it was quite an endeavor.

I can't imagine...baby, dog, electronics, coffee, gummi bears, but every item in the list has a strong priority. You are champions and Nicholas looked happy throughout the the whole process. Enjoy Florida!

You might have a little trouble getting him through as carry-on. Perhaps as a seeing eye dog?

WOW!!! That sounds like some adventure, but we're glad that you made it safely. (I wonder if we could ever pass Onyx as carry-on luggage :) )
